Cutler-Hammer

Cutler-Hammer is a defunct manufacturer of electrical equipment.  Eaton Corp purchased the company in 1978.  Cutler-Hammer played a minor role in electrical distribution sales, however there is a large base of installed product here in the Pacific Northwest due to the efforts of a regionally located Distributor.  Eaton continued to use the name Cutler-Hammer on its products even after it also purchased the Westinghouse line.  After the purchase of Westinghouse, Eaton decided to use the Westinghouse product line instead of its original Cutler-Hammer line.  The Cutler-Hammer line was eventually spun off to Thomas & Betts who did market the line for a short time until discontinuing it all together.
