Eaton

Eaton is an active manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment.  Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer line in 1978 when they acquired Cutler-Hammer Inc.  Eaton added the Westinghouse and Challenger lines when they acquired the Distribution and Control Business Unit of Westinghouse in 1993.  Since that time, they have sold off the original Cutler-Hammer line to Thomas & Betts and retired the Challenger name and now market their product solely as Eaton brand products.  Eaton Corporation plc is an American Irish-domiciled multinational power management company, founded in the United States with corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and operational headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio.
